So this Moroccan spot is cash-only and doesn't serve meat, synthetic meats, or alcohol. YET, it's commonly regarded as one of Echo Park's top restaurants. What's it's secret? It's all in the ingredients and atmosphere. This spot serves up fresh vegetables, cheeses, hummus, and lemonades, in an unpretentious, non-new-agey way that's refreshing. And with its exposed brick walls, potted plants, and dim lighting, Elf Cafe is the perfect setting to fall in love - with the food, of course.
