Things are a little low-key in this distinguished shop full of distinguished furnishings for distinguished gentlemen. Besides the odd seersucker or madras, moth of the fabric on display here is so heavy and dark that you'd think the mission of the store was to outfit some bizarre army of New England liberal arts school professors. Leather briefcases, tweed jackets, an astonishing selection of (appropriately sedate) ties, and fitted clothes that seem to be waiting on a fall lawn party invite.
