Duff's

Editorial Review

Hells Kitchen's Bellevue Bar relocates metal mecca to Brooklyn. Décor's the same: skulls, horror-film posters, and taxidermy sharing wall space with bottles of cheap liquor. Red lighting has bloodbath feel, especially when it falls over Jack Nicholson's grinning mug from The Shining. Head-banging clientele -- prone to black nail polish, tatts, leather gloves, and tongue piercings -- enjoy a peaceful smoke on the outdoor patio, along with a public grill for cookouts.
