Dos Toros

Editorial Review

Burrito baby of two San Fran expats who found themselves lost and alone in taqueria–slim NYC. Must have fed their sorrows at Chipotle, however. Familiar wood and tin design, straightforward carnitas/pollo asado/carne asada opts. But wood is reclaimed, platos rather than bols, and never, ever owned by McDonald's. Sustainable from pinto bean to sour cream. Woven stools and instrumental funk create placid backdrop for getting all carnivore on that hormone–free, veggie–fed, local chicken taco.
