Di Fara Pizza

Editorial Review

Looks like an ordinary outer borough pizzeria, except for the masses of milling 'za heads, some of whom have traveled thousands of miles for Neapolitan thin-crust mastery. Who's making the pies today? Dom DeMarco, same as every day for the last four-plus decades. Septuagenarian pizza sensei works methodically, tops pies with first-rate artisanal ingredients. Ticky-tack interior of aging clippings and stock shots of Italy belies presence of pizzaiolo genius.
