The Hotel Sax (formerly the House of Blues Hotel) got a $17-million makeover from top to bottom, and that, of course, includes the first-floor lounge. The ornately decorated Crimson (in several shades of red) picks up where most hotel bars have dropped the ball: operating as a sleek destination venue first and hotel bar for hotel guests second. They've even managed to snag Lindsay Lohan's BFF Samantha Ronson as resident DJ to spin for a champagne-swilling crowd.
