CB I Hate Perfume

Editorial Review

Christopher Brosius wanted to be an artist and a scientist when he was little. Now, as the "nose" behind Billyburg's favorite scent shop, he's both. The founder of Demeter, Brosius prefers literal scents. He offers dozens of accords (singular notes like Black Currant and Lipstick), and perfumes like In the Library and At the Beach 1966. Lab-like, minimalistic bottles line "The Gallery" walls, and you'll also find home sprays and even mosquito-repellent perfume.
