Venezuela's greatest gift, now in Williamsburg. Apologies to Chavez, but pseudo-communism's got nothing on the arepa. Corn muffins crisp to the touch, soft in the center, stuffed with goodies. Menu nearly identical to East Village progenitor. Tried and true faves avocado and chicken mashed Reina Pepiada, fried sweet plantain cheese balls. Crucial difference: unlike sugarwater-only pops, Brooklyn's come to party. Roneria's the in-house rum bar, stocking 30-plus brown liquors all hailing from south of the border. Oh, and there's a patio.
