Inviting downstairs nook is quiet during the day, busy-busy by night. Expect a wait every night but Sunday, when it's closed. Sweet sangria, incredible shrimp tacos, coffee by the jar, all for mere pesos. Pelliscadas is super fun, a boat-shaped corn masa filled with booty of chorizo, chicken, beans, and salsa greens. Go while the sun's still up (we know it's hard, but make an effort) to see the familia chatting and making delectable tortillas. Tasty, authentic, fresh.
