Landmark 1952 Wythe Diner gets the Esquina treatment. Like downtown original, varies from tacos at the window to formal surrounds in the dark back room. Chrome-trimmed dining car dispenses a cool hundred tequilas. Draft beers and shaved ices add to refreshment in warm-weather garden. Fave bites carry over, tortilla soup, carnitas, queso fundido with roasted pumpkin seeds and chile de árbol. Duck confit and monkfish with pistachio mole verde for your more sophisticated modes.
