Nabe fave bistro for upper-crust Upper East Siders. Sleek, refurbished interior with arched ceiling and walls embedded with old-timey, rustic tools. True to Boulud obsessions, pricey menu gets all world-cuiz eclectic: seasonal plates with a stateside slant (Vermont chicken breast, Pennsylvania veal) next to Asian specialties (whole Peking duck, egg drop soup) and market inspirations (wild mushroom and barley soup). In lieu of supernova celebs, new cocktail joint, Bar Pleiades, hoping to draw semi-hot B-level stars to justify silly name. We love a good clusterf@#k.
