The seemingly infallible Patina group has set up shop at LACMA with this coffee and milkshake outpost. And in Patina fashion, this is no ordinary cafe. The coffee is direct-trade Intelligentsia, the milkshakes are handmade with organic milk and the occasional artisanal spirit, and the pastry chef has a serious knack for making up some mean ice cream sandwiches. There are real sandwiches too, of the ham and gruyere sort, but after a day of viewing LACMA's finest, don't you deserve a treat?
