Breadbox Café

Editorial Review

Queens bakery's looks are closer to the Getty Museum than a Getty auto body shop (which is what it's converted from). High-design café starts with rolling-pin motif outdoors, moves on to contemporary metal and brick interior. Garage doors still on their tracks for mild weather. Serves light fare: bagels, brownies, soups of the day. Good spot for a fill-up on the way to PS1.
