Won't exactly engender fear and trembling at Il Mulino; kitchen serves up alternately competent and uneven homestyle specialties (think individual pizzas, chitara and cavatelli, osso bucco). On the plus side, laidback vibe and straight-forward digs -- airy dining room decked with white linen -- check expectations and make for low-key atmo. The third child's always so grounded.
