Don’t let the word steakhouse fool you. True to Brendan Sodikoff form (the man behind Doughnut Vault, Gilt Bar and Maude’s Liquor Bar)—this Euro-style steakhouse is churning out a whole lot more than tri-tip or surf and turf. Menu items include Yorkshire pudding, hand-cut pasta with homemade pancetta, terrines, the chilled seafood we’ve come to crave at Maude’s, a scotch-heavy cocktail program, and an extensive wine list. And like any Sodikoff establishment, you can count on inspiring environs replete with tufted leather banquettes and dim lighting.
