Owner Dung Trinh worked front of the house at Indochine and La Esquina before opening shop in Williamsburg. His narrow bánh mì venue, enlivened with a bright yellow wall, offers varieties of everyone's favorite Vietnamese sandwich: meatball, chicken, BBQ pork, and fish-cake. Traditional dressings -- crispy cucumber, pickled daikon, cilantro -- arranged like a salad bar behind the counter. Cold fruit shakes to offset the spice. For a menu beyond bánh mì, try An Nhau, Trinh's full-blown restaurant next door.
