Chef Ronny Emborg’s foraged, artisanal ingredients whipped into an intricate 18-course tasting menu — prepaid at $235 per person (before wine). Roses and lobster, sour dough croissant, and steak buckthorn with pine are some of the items on the menu now. Emborg joined the restaurant in May; before, he was at the Michelin-starred Marchal, also El Bulli and Mugaritz. Atera holds two Michelin stars. Intimate space accommodates just 13 seats at the counter (so guests can interact with the kitchen staff), twice a night.
