As the gaudy sign outside describes, this is a combination of Persian, Italian and American cuisines, with a clientele of ex-pats and locals neatly representing the three said cultures. Welcoming if not exactly "cool" interior. Italian side of the menu is solid enough, but we'll stick with the Persian, thank you very much. Beef or chicken koobideh plates are wonderfully charred and delicious, especially when topped with a dollop of minty, cucumbery yogurt sauce. Fesenjoon is a miracle - fragrant and satisfying pomegranate and walnut chicken stew. All sides are perfect - including a gratifyingly creamy and oily hummus that compliments everything. Dessert: Persian ice cream with rosewater and saffron (wow).
