Archer Street

Editorial Review

Pairs of bartenders break into song once or twice a night, but this isn't a campy karaoke or cabaret spot. Feels instead like the lobby of a luxury Firmdale hotel, only upgraded with a bar that has a tightly-edited cocktail list. Impossible to find a veener or fake surface in Aurelia's wood-and-metal decór. Downstairs, groups can reserve mini "caves" with music stations. No real food menu, but in the early evening, ask for complimentary nibbles. Formerly Barcode. Door policy set to change to a guest list in early 2012.
