Eye candy tarts wink from glass display cases. Buttery croissants shake their flaky tailfeathers. Exotic baguettes, part-whole wheat. Sugar prudes scoop up savory ‘wiches in a lunchtime frenzy. Lost out on that pretzel roll, bubbling with cheese? Lick your wounds over raspberry doughnuts, hot chocolate. Not to worry, French women do not get fat, only irritable.
