Alain’s

Editorial Review

The words seasonal and local seem to be attached to every other restaurant opening these days, but a chef whose resume includes experience at Charlie Trotter’s, NoMi and The Peninsula Hotel is harder to come by. Find all of the above at this South Loop spot where chef Alaiin Njike serves up a menu replete with dishes like fuji apple beet risotto, Midwest ratatouille, and rabbit three-way with rutabaga eggplant puree. For now, it’s reservations only.
