Ace Hotel

Editorial Review

Downtown—hell, Brooklyn—smack in the middle of the Garment District. Locations in Portland, Seattle, Palm Springs, but Ace Hotel's setting sights eastward, taking aim on hip hotel hoppers and fatigued fashionistas who need to wake up close to work. Rooms run the spectrum of the dollar-lined rainbow: bunk-up to save money, or 700 square feet of trust-fund-bedhead-esque loft space in sick suites. Mini bar, Kama Sutras, rooms designed with commissioned artwork, etc. In other words, Bowery Hotel, protect yo neck. Also Stumptown and Ken Friedman and April Bloomfield's Breslin. A-game, indeed.
