No. 8

Editorial Review

“8” as in Bungalow 8, although ostensibly Amy Sacco isn’t behind this reboot of her Chelsea legend (she really is). On the books, LDV Hospitality of Revel fame runs the show, takes gastropub approach. New location near the Dream and Maritime sure to restore the density of bold-faced names from 27th Street heyday. Two stories of posh fun, restoring palms and banquettes of the original, adding vintage vinyl in the "rec room." Menu of small plates like Kobe beef sliders and mango shrimp just enough to make size-zero patrons' heads spin, if cocktails like Love Potion #8 didn't do the job already.
