44 & X little bro angling for favored son status. Fronts as a café, but urbane black trim and high prices nix that. Fresh salads, refined takes on lobster pot pie, pork chops, cassoulet. Small front bar, but action's mostly around the bamboo garden out back. Like the mothership, cooks up a festive brunch. Pink-shirted boy toy staff keeps the bi-curious entertained.
